In capturing the essence of a location, particularly for a project in Washington, DC, we faced the ongoing challenge of weaving a compelling narrative. To tackle this, we took a fresh perspective. We enlisted local muralist JD Deardourff to create murals that combined iconic local scenes with his unique artistic style. Partnering with photographer Joanna Hiatt, we carefully selected pieces that skillfully blended multiple shots, offering an elevated take on the well-known monuments. The result is a renewed and engaging storytelling approach, combining the talents of local artists to bring a distinctive essence to the project.
