Link Mint Street

Hilary Siber Edwards was given two nontraditional canvases - a wall that spans from the indoors to outdoors and a lifesize buffalo sculpture. Both pieces aim to represent the physical access and connection that this project has to the vibrant Uptown neighborhood.

The wall mural draws inspiration from the street grid through the overlaying of countless colors. The gradient from warm to cool colors alludes to the full span of a day from sunrise to sunset and the ability to witness that from this elevated lounge.

The buffalo is a nod to the former mint located nearby. She chose to use concentric circles and playful colors to represent the groups of communities now coming together in this place.
